LeBron and Joel were knowledgeable and gave good recommendations. They were very respectful of my belongings. Anything they had to move while working was moved carefully and items were kept together how they found them. I came home to find my bed relocated and maded exactly as I left it. Lebron and his assistant arrived on time and got to work.  They are meticulous and have great attention to detail.  The doors were installed without hiccup.  They look great.  I wouldn’t hesitate to call Lebron for door installations again.  They only surprise was that he wanted a $150 delivery fee due to he and his assistant getting caught in traffic.  Because he also inspected the doors at the dealer and found a defect that he had them repair I thought it was fair to pay.

Castleberrys Carpentry repaired a set of firewall doors at my church.  Over the years the frame and doors had sagged enough to strike each other when being closed and were difficult to reopen.  Mr. Castleberry came twice, once to examine the doors to determine what was necessary and schedule the repairs, the second to do the work.  He executed the plan described at the first meeting with the result that the doors, while not in new condition (over 20 years old), now function very well.

Labor cost was reasonable for journeymen standard and exactly as stated on their business description. The job estimate was plainly written and there were no surprises. They were a great team. They came on time, did the job excellently, and cleaned up well.  They had to work for 2 days to replace all 5 doors, so I gave them the key to the property. They are a family of journeymen builders who are insured, licensed and bonded. I’ve verified their information with the State and checked for customer ratings from different websites prior to hiring. I find them to be pleasantly serious, hard-working, meticulous and trustworthy people. They do run a tight schedule, but as the need arises, they will be re-hired for our property management needs. Bottomline: no headaches, good price, decent, honest people, first-rate job, and no regrets.

The fence is next to 2 very large pine trees. He dug 2 deep trenches, poured concrete and set the posts to attach to the concrete above ground. He also reinforced the 2 posts with a 2nd post because we’ve had problems with this fence before. He was able to re-use the actual fence boards, saving us money. I expect this fence to remain standing for a very very long time. He’s very meticulous about his work and he cuts no corners. I’m so glad I found him and I’d highly recommend him to anyone for any carpentry project.

Mr. Castleberry installed doors in our house and had to remove some floor moulding as well.
Comments:
Mr. Castleberry was an exceptional person to have in our home and to have working on our doors. He was professional from start to finish and was very careful to be sure that his work was finished completely and perfectly. The vendor ordered incorrect doors and parts and would not take the blame for their errors, instead they blamed Mr. Castleberry when he had nothing to do with ordering he doors. He was extremely professional about the vendor issues and made sure that our doors were completed to 100% satisfaction, and would not compromise on mediocre installation, even spending extra amounts of his own time making sure the doors were absolutely perfect. He made multiple trips to the vendor to amend the errors made by this vendor and handled it both professionally and punctually. He communicated excellently, cleaned up everything after himself, and was very respectful to our pets and children. He was also very respectful to our property being careful not to damage any of our furniture or floors. I would highly recommend Mr. Castleberry over and over again. He takes a lot of pride in his work as he should.

I had my front door (double) replaced. The service was exceptional. It is obvious from the beginning that Mr. Castleberry is very professional and a perfectionist. Throughout the entire installation process, he was more concern with the quality of work then time. I really appreciated him taking his time on details and quality. Exceptional work, service and highly recommended.
Comments:
Mr. Castleberry arrived at the house early in the morning. Before taking down the old doors, he first checked the measurements. He then double-checked and triple checked. It wasn’t until he was satisfied with all the measures, he start the removal of the old doors. Once the old doors were removed, he inserted the new doors/frame. Even after the insert was done, he continues to check the doors and frame to make sure all angles are perfect and leveled. While he may have taken a little more time then what would be expected, he never rush through the installation as he is focus on perfection and quality. His work is exceptional.
Description Of Work:
 His deck was falling down and I needed to get a new one built for him. I used Angies List in Chattanooga to locate Lebron by his references.Lebron tore down my dad’s old deck that he had built 25 years ago, hauled the scrap away and replaced the entire deck (12X22) including new steps and stained the deck for the money cited.
Comments:
Lebron gave me a detailed estimate and I sent him a 5K check in advance. He immediately got to work and finished the project in a timely fashion. His work is excellent and he has been completely honorable, professional and reliable. His work is quite beautiful and my dad said the deck Lebron built is far superior to the one my dad built.Lebron was also very patient and nice with my dad who was not so keen on the project when I announced it to him. Dad now is very pleased with his new deck.
I simply cannot think of any “DONT’S” for Lebron or his work. I have had a completely satisfactory experience and thoroughly and unreservedly recommend him.
Description Of Work: Indivividual installed two digital thermostats in my home. While here, he also repaired a door and a bathroom towel rack.
Comments: The individual arrived on time and as scheduled. He was polite, friendly and profesional. Once he arrived he promptly started the work. He quickly finished the installation of the thermostats. While talking he asked if there was anything else I needed to have worked. He then tighted the door lock on my fron door and repaired a towel rack. After completing his work, he cleaned the area up. Overall I was satisified with his work and would use him again.

Description Of Work:
I have a bonus room over the dining room. This room was going to be used for storage and I needed to have a stronger floor installed to allow storage of items and the ability to walk on the floor. The individual came out and provided and estimate with several options for flooring. After determining the fllor we wanted, the indoividual came out and installed the flooring.
Comments:
The individual arrived promptly on the scheduled date and time. He was professional and worked quickly. He did a good job on the floor and did a good job of cleaning up the job site after they were done. The individuals were very polite and friendly.

 

Description Of Work:
A pass-through was created between two bedrooms to add square footage to the master bedroom. A door, casing, and frame were removed to eliminate one of two openings for the master suite. The whole was covered with sheetrock.
Comments:
The job was done quickly and professionally. Overall outstanding experience. An estimate was provided before work began. The work was started and completed on time.
Description Of Work:
The deck railing, stairs, handrails, supports, and decking were all repaired. The damages were resulted from two large trees falling on the deck. This caused significant damage. The repairs resulted in a deck that is sturdier, safer, and far better looking than it previously was.
Comments:
An appointment for an estimate was made. A detailed estimate was given. Materials were purchased. The work was completed in a timely and professional manner.
Description Of Work:
Our second story fireplace was separating from the inside surround, causing us to believe that it could fall through the pop out.
LeBron removed the siding, supporting the firebox, and inspected all that was inside the structure. He added support joists through the garage which supports the pop out, jacked the firebox to be sure it was secure, level and safe. He then reframed the underside of the pop out, put everything back together, caulked, painted and left everything better than it ever was.
Comments:
My husband is on a job assignment out of the country. He was here when we met with LeBron to discuss our concerns but had to leave before the job was scheduled. They discussed was would be done and my husbands expectations, but as past projects have fallen short when he is gone, and I am in charge, I was skeptical.
LeBron was here when he said he would be, called if there were any delays, and cleaned up before he left daily. He would explain things to me as he and his co-worker progressed, ask if I had other concerns and I was never uncomfortable having them at my home.
The work was completed in a very timely manner, unlike past experiences we have had with other contractors . His finishing work has set a new standard for us. I honestly keep looking around for other things we need done, so I can call him back.
Description Of Work:
Lebron designed and built a 20X24 deck onto the back of our home. He demolished the old deck as well.
Comments:
The whole process took a little longer than we expected due to weather problems and materials coming from out of state but, with it being the middle of winter, it wasn’t a big deal. It was definitely worth the wait! Our deck is absolutely beautiful, solid and one which we will enjoy for many years to come! Lebron was a pleasure to work with and his insistance on perfection (both of materials and his work) was certainly refreshing ! We would definitetly recommend him and will use him again in the future.
Description Of Work:
Tore out roof rafters, reinforced and raised roof to new level, extended out over a front porch, built a 12×14 deck on the rear w/stairs, and a 4×8 landing porch with stairs on the end of the house.
Comments:
I hired Labron from a craigslist ad he had placed. He lived about 35 miles away in Red Bank. He made an appt to come up, and he showed up right when he said he would (Which with others I have dealt with, they did not show or even call). He seemed knowledgeable, entergetic, looked at everything and made notes, and I told him what I thought was a fair price. He left, went home and studied his notes, and called me back and said he would to the job. He showed up everytime he was supposed to, and his work was very good. The deck was built w/6″ posts, and he even got the concrete tube forms and poured concrete around the base of each post 12″above the ground to give even the concrete work and nice finished look. I would have no hesitation to hire him again.

We had a door hung, framed, subfloor repaired (someone had removed it!), porch light replaced and stair made. And trim put inside.
Comments:
It looks great. It was a mess prior to the fixes. Someone had messed up the installation. (Okay, I did. I messed it up myself.) And Labron fixed it.

Description Of Work:
I have an old garage (1926) that wanted an art studio built on the back. It required raising the roof in the back and on one side, putting in dormer windows, 2 sliding doors, decking, concrete, hardy-board siding, metal roofing, and working with an existing structure that was made neither plumb nor square. It required imagination and creativity and working with a woman who knew what she wanted.
Comments:
It’s so adorable I want to pinch its cheaks. Wonderful job! LaBron is a good listener and he is in a terminally good mood. I had a lot of fun with the process of thinking this through, and he surprised me with making rafter tails that match the house! It was a nice touch. The room has a lot of character and I can’t wait to move my stuff in and get busy.

 

Description Of Work:
Lebron replaced approximately 20 deck flooring boards, built an extension to my deck to accommodate a ninety pound cast iron Chiminea Fire Place, pressure washed the entire deck, both top and bottom and hauled away all of the trash. The $475 was for labor only.

Very high quality carpentry. Always on time. Readily accepted my suggestions and offered his suggestions for my consideration, Well satisfied with Lebron’s work and will call on him for my next project.
Description Of Work:
Replaced headers over doors and windows and leveled our kitchen floor and installed new sub-flooring in the kitchen and breakfast nook. Also, rebuilt our stairs going to our second floor and moved a wall for us.

Our experience was great. Lebron came in to help us with our renovation project and worked within the budget we had available and really did more than we/he originally planned and continued to stay within the budget.

Remodeled my pool house and area surrounding my pool. Hung sheet rock and trim, built a deck on the back, and laid stone work on pool decking.

Labron Castleberry did an excellent job start to finish. He showed up early or on time every day. He was always courteous and worked with enthusiasm to get the job done. He also had very helpful suggestions as to how to complete certain aspects of he job. I was very impressed that he even picked up all the materials at Lowes and brought them with him, saving me from having to do it or have them delivered. He has a very good personality as well as a good work ethic. His price was less than what I would have expected, but could have been a little lower due to the current economic conditions. I found nothing negative in this experience. He does excellent work at an excellent price, is conscientious and always on time.
